"How to Create a Native Garden Your Neighbors Will Enjoy and Appreciate" Wild Ones WNY Meeting at Julia Boyer Reinstein Library
Public Welcome Free Event Program/Speaker Presentation Public Restroom Free Public Parking Drinking Fountains
Yards filled with native plants often don’t look like the tidy lawns many people expect. Many neighbors see these as “messy” and so “neglected.” We will discuss how you can have an ecologically rich yard AND show it’s cared for!
For our September Wild Ones WNY event we will be open to the public at the public library in Cheektowaga. Board members Ken Parker and Devon Southall will be sharing examples of what Wild Ones calls “Cues to Care” and leading a collaborative discussion of other ways we can show care in our gardens. Mix and Mingle at 6pm, presentation 6:30-7:30 (Library closes at 8pm)
Help us with this presentation! Share photos at this link: https://forms.gle/rwEvoER47VKjhavF9 We will gift a native plant sign to one lucky contributor. (Pickup at the meeting or in Tonawanda)
Please register so we have an idea of expected attendance. Thanks!
