A Message from Our New President
In sharing her excitement for the year ahead, President Gwen Alegre offered this message:
“It’s an honor to step into the role of President for Wild Ones WNY. Our chapter is full of people who care deeply about native plants and ecological restoration, and I’m excited to build on the strong foundation we’ve created together. In the year ahead, I look forward to strengthening partnerships, supporting our members, and helping our programs reach more communities across Western New York. Thank you for being part of this mission.”
We are grateful to each of these individuals for their commitment to advancing our mission of promoting native plants through education, advocacy, and community action. Their leadership will help guide our chapter as we continue to grow programming, support members, and expand our impact across Western New York.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the election process and to all our volunteers who make this work possible. We look forward to a productive and inspiring year ahead.
