Be Part of Our Growth and Stewardship – Volunteer Today!
Are you passionate about native plants, ecological landscaping, and building community? Do you want to shape the future of Wild Ones Western New York? If yes, we have exciting opportunities to help our chapter flourish!
Help Us Lead the Way: Board Director Recruitment
We’re seeking enthusiastic members to join our board of directors. Board service is rewarding and impactful, helping set our chapter’s direction and ensuring our mission to promote native plants and sustainable landscapes. We welcome fresh perspectives and diverse backgrounds.
Plus! Committee Chairs and Members Needed!
We’re also recruiting for three committees. Time commitments are flexible.
- Communications Committee: Assist with blog posts, newsletters, social media, and website updates.
- Membership Committee: Welcome new members and support existing ones. Meet with the public during tabling events.
- Program Committee: Plan and organize educational programs, workshops, and field trips.
Your contributions will make a real difference. Whether you chair a committee or join as a member, you’ll work alongside friendly, enthusiastic volunteers and gain valuable skills.
How to Get Involved
Joining our board or a committee is simple. If you’re interested, submit this form by October 8. We’re happy to connect you with a current board member to share their experience.
Our annual meeting and election is on November 13 at 6:30 pm at the Amherst Community Center.
Director Voting Made Easy
Voting will take place in two formats:
- E-voting: Cast your vote online from November 1 until the end of the annual meeting on November 13.
- Paper Ballot: Vote in person at the annual meeting.
Instructions on both voting options will be sent to all members.
